From the artist: Selby Burke (they/he) is a queer artist blending natural science drawings with fantastical whimsey into their painting, prints, and illustrations. Drawing inspiration from from many historical sources, such as manuscripts and tapestries, their knack for storytelling and world-building comes through in the evolution and iteration of his work. Selby is based in the Lower Hudson Valley of New York, loves his cat, Ashoka, and is an adamant board gamer.
