As a former educator and member of the queer community, I believe in support and uplifting LGBTQIA+ students and their educators. This support is needed especially in areas where school environments have become hostile to queer students.
It might seem like a pin is too small to make an impact, but just the visual of a pronoun pin can be immensely reassuring to those in the community. I want to help facilitate educators and adults in child care spaces to be visible to students as a safe adult.
